Dee and Maria Swick along with Bill and Leslie Nelson are pleased to announce that D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in Wheelersburg will have its grand opening in mid-November. An open house will be held on Sunday, November 19th from 1 – 5 p.m. at the funeral home with refreshments and tours of the newly decorated facility. A drawing for several gift certificates from local merchants will also be held at that time.
A longtime landmark of the Wheelersburg community, this beautiful building was known as the Marting Home and had previously been used as a funeral home beginning with the opening of Brock Funeral Home in 1957. Located at the corner of Gallia Pike and Hayport Road, known as “the divide”, this stately building has recently been extensively remodeled and updated including new furnishings. D.W. Swick-Nelson has ten people on staff including five licensed Funeral Directors who are available to provide the same excellent and caring service to the families of Wheelersburg that they offer at their other locations in South Webster, New Boston, and Sciotoville.
We hope you will join us on the 19th to celebrate the opening of the new D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in Wheelersburg!
