Aaron George Whitby, husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Aaron Whitby, 45, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, May 11 of 2025 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio; son of Robert Whitby and Gail Hammond, born July 21,1979. Aaron loved to fish and spend time with his family. He loved to joke and make people laugh. Aaron loved to sing and show off his singing abilities and we loved to listen.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Lynn Whitby; Mother, Gail Hammond of Portsmouth, OH; Sister, Annette (Clinton Johnson) Knotts of Portsmouth, OH; Twin brother, Eric Whitby of Portsmouth, OH; Daughters, Catherine and Haley Whitby; Step-daughters Abi and Skyler Messer; Step-sons Lee, Viktor, Charlie Messer and friend Matthew Clark. He was also blessed with two Grand-daughters, Bexley and Lilah; Nephews, Patrick (Krissy) Alexander of Siletz, OR and David Whitby of Portsmouth, OH; Niece, Britany (Joseph) Brown of Portsmouth, OH; Great nephews, Daniel Cottle, Wyatt Brown, Jensen Brown, Hunter Alexander, Viktor Alexander, and Oliver Alexander; Great nieces, Shiloh Brown, Nicole Whitby and Lily Faulkner.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert Whitby and other loving family members.
Funeral Service will be Sunday May 18, 2025 at 2:00PM, Visitation will be from 1:00- 2:00PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME/ Wolfe-Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville . Interment to follow at the family cemetery.
