Ada Davis, 69, of Oak Hill passed away March 18, 2023 at her home. She was born September 19, 1953 in Portsmouth to the late Everett Sr. and Margaret (Elswick) Cook. Ada loved to go fishing and to go on picnics.

She is survived by her life partner, Larry Sprague of Oak Hill; two sons, Mark Davis and wife Gwen of West Portsmouth and Edward Dwayne Cook and wife Dawn of Sciotoville; a daughter, Ida Davis of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Everett Cook Jr of New Boston and William Cook and wife Carla of Portsmouth; a sister, Sue Hubbard of Portsmouth; fourteen grandchildren, Margaret Cook, Edward Cook, Christina Cook, Little David Cook, Sierra Cook, Claire Cook, Tom Cook, Jerry Cook, Kara Davis, Brianna Davis, Malcolm Davis, Bubba Davis, Roger Davis, and Christina Davis. Sh e was also preceded in death by a son, David Davis; three brothers, Rick Ronald Cook, Jim Cook, Ab Cook; three sisters, Grace Yates, Geneva Cook, and Katherine Cook.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 22, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Ryan Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at Scioto Furnace Cemetery.
