Ada Egerton, 80, 0f Minford, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Concord Care Center. She was born February 26, 1930 in Newcombe, KY. ;a daughter of the late James and Ruth Gillum Stevens. She was retired from Mercy hospital, and was a member of North Moreland Christian Baptist Church and the Wheelersburg Eastern Star Chapter 516. Ada is survived by a son, Allen Egerton and wife Fawn of South Webster; a daughter, LouAnn Tribby and husband Jay of Lucasville; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Egerton, a brother, Raymond Stevens and 2 sisters, Genevia Marie Reynolds and Evon Truman. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 PM with Eastern Star services at 7:30 PM at D.W.
