Aiden Jace Blanton, 2 years old of Wheelersburg died Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Childrens Hospital in Columbus of complications following a drowning accident. He was born April 26, 2012 in Portsmouth, the son of Natosha Blanton. He is also survived by his grandparents, Carl And Rhonda Blanton of Oak Hill, Dan and Sara Pennington of South Shore and John and Trish Osborne; great grandparents, Donna Arthur of Franklin Furnace and Clarence Blanton of Oak Hill, Sam and Rosalee Pennington of Portsmouth; 7 aunts, Courtney Blanton, Bethany Blanton, Brianna Blanton, Adrianna Blanton and Brooklyn Blanton all of Oak Hill and Betty Osborne and Alexas Osborne both of Sciotoville; great uncles, Jeff Blanton of Pedro, OH. and Bob Blanton of Franklin Furnace; great aunts, Donna Blanton of Portsmouth and Davina Arthur of Franklin Furnace, Rachel Barrett of Wheelersburg and many cousins and friends. Special people in his life were the Kleinmans, C.J. Collins, Lee Lee Nelson, Gerri Conschafsky, Brooklyn Otworth, J.J. Dennis, Jennings and Ty Howard. Aiden was also preceded in death by his aunt, Brittany Blanton, grandfather, David Arthur, grandmother, Loraine Blanton and a uncle, Shannon Arthur. Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Rev. David Frazie officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Furnace Cemetery.
