Alanna Dawn Carter, 33, of Oak Hill died Sun., Nov. 8, 2009. She was born Sept. 29, 1976 in Gallipolis, a daughter of Alan Carter of Jackson and Marilyn Sheperd Seitz of Oak Hill. She was a homemaker and attended Rio Grande Community College. Also surviving is the father of her children, David Leroy Rice of Oak Hill; a son, Tyler David Rice and a daughter, Alyssa Dawn Rice both at home; 3 brothers, Douglas Ray Dickens Jr. of Oak Hill, Dustin Alan Carter and Cameron Carter both of Jackson; 3 sisters, Cindy Marie Robbins of Wellston, Angela Rena Dickens and Micah Carter both of Jackson and several neices, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman Cecil Sheperd, Pearl Roe Sheperd, Myra Kuhn Carter and John Carter. Services will be 1 PM Thurs., Nov. 12, 2009 at D.W.
