Age 87 of Portsmouth, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.  He was born in Scioto Furnace on November 25, 1928 to Edward and Cora (Aeh) Fenton.  He was a 1946 graduate of Bloom Local School District and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  Albert was an avid antique collector and loved to fish.  He was a retired conductor with the N & W Railroad and was a member of several organizations including the South Webster Over 55 Club, the Possum Hollow Card Club, and was a past member of the former South Webster Lions Club.  He attended Grace Methodist Church.

Albert is survived by five daughters, Karen Stidham (Ted) of Lucasville, Debbie Hanes (Gary) of South Webster, Susie Beaumont (Tom) of Stout, Sandy Fenton of Portsmouth, Patty Sparks (Greg) of Wheelersburg; three brothers, John Fenton of Wheelersburg, Frank Fenton of Dayton, Willard "Bill" Fenton of South Webster; four sisters, Helen Walker of Wheelersburg, Joanne Williams of Wheelersburg, Linda Bishop of Slocum, Janet Meadows of Scioto Furnace; five  grandchildren, Terry Ramsey (Cindy), Aimee Hall (Matt) Dr. T.J. Stidham (Stephanie), Aarika Hughes (Justin), Abbi Sparks; nine great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; brothers Fred Fenton, Dick Fenton; sisters, Louise Knight, Marg Lenyo, Rose Fenton; granddaughter, Serena Newsome.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastors Don Meadows and Frank Fenton officiating.  Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery in South Webster.  Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. or one hour before the service.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
