Alberta P. Scott, 93 of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. She was born November 29, 1920 in Dehue, WV, the daughter of the late Oren E. and Sadie May Virgin. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Scott; three sons, Carl, Con, and George Scott; 5 brothers, Emanuel, Edward, Con, Don, and Joseph Virgin; and one grandson, Michael Thompson.

Alberta is survived by one daughter, Patricia Sue Wright of Minford; one son, Harold C. Scott of Wheelersburg; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Condolences may be share with the family at www.swickbussachamberlin.com .
