Alonzo "Eddie" Sarven, Jr. 71, of Ashland passed away Sunday Nov. 7, 2021. He was born May 11, 1950 in Ashland, a son of the late Evelyn (McKenzie) Sarven and Alonzo Sarven Sr.
He enjoyed fishing, preaching at different Churches and was known as Brother Eddie, the traveling preacher.

Alonzo is survived by two sisters, Rosemary (Walter) York, Geraldine Mullins and Jerry Mitchell all of Ashland; two brothers, Auttie A. (Terri) Sarven of Westwood, Charles Sarven of Ashland and Aunt Beverly Smith and family.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pama Sarven and a brother, James E. Sarven.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday Nov. 11, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Ray Hennecke officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home.
