Obituary

Althea R. Rawlins, 76 of South Webster passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at SOMC Emergency Room. She was born November 21, 1940 in Kentucky a daughter of the late John and Edna Riley. Althea was a former member of Oak Hill First Baptist Church and attended South Webster Baptist Church. She loved to go to the Amish Country and visit the nursing homes, but her favorite hobby was taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by five sons, Donald (Lisa) Rawlins of Stout, Mark (Diane) Rawlins of El Paso, TX, Anthony (Sheila) Rawlins of South Webster, Joe (Missy) Rawlins of Minford and Steven Rawlins of South Webster; one daughter, Princess Raynard of South Webster; one sister, Mary Newman of Sandusky; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; special friends, Ray Collier, Donnie Raynard, Phillip Spence, and Judy Brooks.

Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday August 19, 2017 at D.W.SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastors Cline Rawlins and Ken Leedy officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
