Anthony W. Cooley, 63, 0f Sciotoville, passed away Monday May 27, 2024 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 7, 1961 in Portsmouth, a son of Warren Cooley and the late Flora (Mowery) Cooley.

He loved racing and building race cars. He also enjoyed being a mechanic and working on any kind of car.

Anthony is also survived by two sons, Anthony Cooley and wife Jackie of Lucasville and Paul Cooley of Portsmouth; three daughters, Destiny Cook, Tonya Cook both of Portsmouth and Faith Cooley of Sciotoville; a sister, Tammy Lake of Sciotoville; four grandchildren, Candice Eldridge, Keara Eldridge, Indionna Cooley and Matthew Cooley.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Lore and grandchild, Betty Eldridge.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday June 3, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville. Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM prior to services on Monday.
