Barbara A. McLaughlin, 75 of Wheelersburg passed away Friday May 27, 2016 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born June 3, 1940 in Columbus, a daughter of the late Ben and Maxine Gilpin Beasley. Barbara was formerly employed by Metropolitan Life and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Drivers Exam Station. She was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School, Portsmouth Business College, and attended Shawnee State University.

She is survived by a son, Eric McLaughlin and wife Stephanie of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Amy Jo McLaughlin of Columbus; two sisters, Jean (Ed) Fisher of Jefferson, GA., Bonnie (Dick) Gerard of London, OH; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Nathan McLaughlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday June 3, 2016 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Father Tom Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park.
