Barbara Lee Todd, 88, of Portsmouth, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Monday, January 19, 2026. A devoted homemaker, Barbara cherished her time as a mother and a pastor’s wife, embodying the love and support that nurtured her family throughout her life. She is remembered fondly for the countless ways she cherished her family, making it her life's mission to instill values of love, compassion, and spirituality in her children and grandchildren.

Reflecting a profound faith, Barbara loved God and was deeply involved in her church community. She attended the Free Church of Jesus Christ in Highland Bend and the North Mooreland Light House Church, where she not only participated but also served as a preacher. She found joy in singing in church, leading Bible studies, and engaging in various crafts, where her creativity shone through her drawing and painting skills.

Barbara’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her son, Phillip E. Todd of Wheelersburg; her daughter, Angela Sue Todd of Portsmouth; and her grandson, Jeremy Todd. Her family also includes her half-brother, Dennie Mosley of Tennessee, and half-sisters, Joyce and Julie Mosley of Tennessee. She took great pride in her grandchildren, James Todd, Crystal Porter, Tara Harr, BarbaraJoe Porter, Denna and Michael Stevens, along with her eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded by her beloved husband, Pastor Carl S. Todd, whom she married June of 1954, Sr.; her parents, Dennie Mosley, Sr. and Georgia Ferrara; her sons, Carl Todd Jr. and James Todd Sr.; and her brothers, Dennie Mosley, Sr. and Roger Mosley.

Her visitation services are scheduled for January 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on January 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, both at D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services- Sciotoville, located at 5951 Gallia St, Sciotoville, OH 45662. The funeral service will follow on January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Clyde Spencer officiating, interment to follow at Haverhill Cemetery.

Barbara Lee Todd will be remembered for her unwavering faith, boundless love for her family, and the gentle spirit that inspired all who knew her.
