Age 58 of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her home. She was born February 18, 1959 in Portsmouth to Arthur and Millie (Boggs) Hurst. She worked for 10 years as a nurse's aide at Best Care in Wheelersburg and was a faithful member of Shepherd's Chapel. Benita enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing, and animals. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Carver; daughters, Dana (David) Jordan of Portsmouth and Danita Carver of Wheelersburg; brothers, Thomas (Carolyn) Hurst of Sciotoville and Leroy (Rita) Hurst; sisters, Bonnie Clark of Wheelersburg, Vicki (special friend, Mike) Bailey of Wheelersburg, and Cheryl (Michael) Musser of South Webster; grandchildren, Madison Carver, Shana McGlone, Elijah Carver, and Caitlyn Carver; sister-in-law, Janice Hurst of Wheelersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy; two brothers, Gary and Edward Hurst; nephew, Jeremy Hurst.
