Betty Ann Hughes, 78, of New Boston went to be with the Lord on Jan. 16, 2013 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born March 20, 1934 in New Boston, a daughter of the late Adolph and Lydia Bartlett Kemp. She is survived by 2 sons, James (Linda) Hughes and Bradley Hughes all of Wheelersburg; 2 daughters, Paula Rase of Euless, TX. and Kimberly Bower of Port Clinton, OH.; 1 brother, Harold (Grace) Adams of Lucasville; 2 sisters, Helen Newton of Portsmouth and Janet Goddard of New Boston; 1 grandson, Joshua Rase; 5 granddaughters, Jayma Rase, Julie Rase, Jessica Hickenbottom, Brittany Zetting and Jennifer Bower; step-grandchildren, Michael Fitch, Mark Scott and Pamela Crabtree and 5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hughes in 1980, a sister, Evelyn Wolfe, 3 brothers, William, Paul and Ernest Adams.Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday Jan. 19, 2013 at D.W.
