Betty Ruth (Jane) Johnson died November 30, 2013 in Cape Coral, FL, at the age of 93. She was born on December 26, 1919 in Carter County, KY to William and Senia (Buckler) McGinnis. She was formerly from Sciotoville, OH and of the Nazarene faith. Betty was a licensed Practical Nurse who practiced many years in Springfield, OH before moving to Sciotoville. She retired from Southern Hills Hospital after many years of service.

Betty is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Johnson, Byron (Judy) Johnson; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Johnson; one brother, Paul (Charlene) McGinnis; her grandchildren, Edward (Renee) Johnson, Angela (Dan) Driscoll, Teddy, Clinton, and Jason Johnson, Carla (Dan) Anderson, Gayla Phillips, Scott Stokes, Sheree (Brian) Howard, and Steve (Lorretta) Johnson; 25 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy V. Johnson; 2 sons, Roy (Deed) Johnson, Stephen Johnson; daughter, Shelva Hawk; sister, Gladys Parker; and 3 brothers, Wince, Clyde, and Don McGinnis.

Graveside committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Pastor Ralph Shaffer officiating.
