Betty Frances Rader, 86, of Wheelersburg passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at SOMC HOSPICE in Portsmouth.  She was born on November 3, 1935, in Graceland, KY to the late Wilbert Mitchelle and Ama (Colley) Howard.  She was a member of Rubyvillle Community Church and taught Sunday School for over 22 years.  Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She continuously prayed for her family.

Betty is survived by one son, Douglas E. Rader of Fenton, MI; a daughter, Rhonda Rader of Waverly; two grandchildren, Tera Rader and Jonathan Rader; four great grandchildren, Brandon Vanover, Cameron  Rader, Saydi Rader;  great-great grandchildren , Ayla Vanover and Atticus Vanover; three sisters, Mary Bartee of Dayton, Verla Messer and husband Ken of Wheelersburg and Ruth Maggard of Wheelersburg; one brother, Virgil Howard and wife Phyllis of Sciotoville.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doug Rader; two brothers, Bob Colley and Herman Howard; three sisters, Patricia Humble and Ruby Roof.
