Betty Lou Yates, 85, of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday December 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1936 in Scioto County a daughter of the late Clarence and Ester (Besco) Wallace. She was a member of Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church, loved going to church and any church functions. She also enjoyed bowling and cooking for family and friends.

Betty is survived by two sons, Randy Yates and Penny of Wheelersburg, Rick Yates and Amy of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Debra Yates of Wheelersburg and Deana Lore of Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday December 14, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Monday December 13, 2021 and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
