Beulah "Boots' Creech Sherman, of New Boston, OH, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Health Systems on July 26, 2026, at the age of 94, just 12 days before her 95th birthday. She was born on August 7, 1931, in Worthington, Kentucky. She was adopted by Florence Adkins whose care and guidance, along with her biological grandfather, shaped her life. When she graduated high school, she was offered a full art scholarship, but she fell in love and chose to marry. She remained artistic throughout her life and passed the artistic gene down to her daughter.

She married William Creech in 1950, and together they had three children: Polly Creech of Athens, OH; Thomas Creech (Kathe) of Ridgeland, SC; and Scott Creech of Chillicothe, OH. Her children appreciated the experience of growing up on a farm. They divorced in 1980 and remained lifelong friends until his death.

She met Donald Sherman in 1980, and after numerous marriage proposals she finally said yes and they married in 2000. They travelled extensively across America, went on numerous cruises and loved each other deeply until his death.

Beulah loved gardening and grew both flowers and vegetables, she loved animals and rescued numerous strays, she loved hiking and finding and identifying wildflowers and birds, she loved buying winning lottery tickets and did so frequently, she loved going to Las Vegas where she was also quite lucky. Most of all she loved her children. She taught them to love, appreciate, and respect nature, to become lifelong readers and to pursue college educations. She worked at K-Mart for many years, and she was loved by both coworkers and customers for her positive attitude, outgoing personality and sense of humor.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Renee Creech and Melissa Martin. She cherished her special friends Barbie and Terry Martin and appreciated the hospice team at Bridgeport Health Systems.

In keeping with her wishes, a private interment will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her second husband.
