Bill M. Abbott, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 17, 2015 at the SOMC Hospice Center. He was a resident of the Hill View Retirement Center. Born March 27, 1927, he was a son of the late John and Edna Abbott of Sciotoville. He graduated from East High School after which he joined the Navy and served in the Asian theater on board the U.S.S. Baltrami at the Naval base on the Hwang Po River.
