Billie Jaco Sowards Percell, 92 of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday February 17, 2021. She was born February 9, 1929 in Harlan Co., KY a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Smiddie) Jaco.
Billie was a former Home Health Care worker and worked in the Deli at the former Nancy Rae Super market. She loved flowers and working in her yard.
She is survived by two sons, James Sowards of Brooksville, FL and Jeffery Sowards of Wheelersburg; three daughters, Linda Moore of Wheelersburg, Donetta McCord and Lisa Blevins both of Columbus; two brothers, Richard Jaco of Georgia and Jeryl Jaco of Louisville, KY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Percell; two sons, Russell and Richard Sowards, a daughter Sandy Sowards and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday February 24, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5 to 7 PM and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
