Age 75 of Patriot, passed away July 17, 2018 in Gallipolis.  He was born September 10, 1942 in Gallia County to Raymond and Bessie (Green) Bays.  A truck driver by profession, he is survived by three children including Bobbie Bays, Jr. and Misty Bays; four brothers, Ralph (Kathy) Bays of Patriot, Herbert Bays of the Vinton area, Dennis Bays of Thurman, General Junior Bays of Cheshire; three sisters, Vergie (Herbert) Bayman of Versailles, Sue Trimble of Gallipolis, Janice (Jerry) Spurlock of Patriot.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, LeAnn; two sisters, Bessie Reynolds and Goldie Spurlock.
