Bobby Joe Reed, 33, of Batavia formerly of Portsmouth died Wednesday Feb. 25, 2015. He was born November 17, 1981 in Portsmouth a son of Charles M. Reed and Donna Sue Gilbert Reed. He was a carpenter and member of the Carpenters Local 02.

Besides his parents he is survived by a grandmother, Genevieve Reed of New Boston; a brother, Ernest C. (Shannon) Reed of Florence, KY., several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday March 1, 2015 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Zach Evans officiating. A gathering of friends will take place from 1 to 2 Pm Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
