Age 67 of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home. He was born in Portsmouth on December 17, 1949 to John Henry and Goldie Mae (Cooper) Biars Stiles. Calvin worked as a laborer in construction and in his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking walks.

He is survived by three brothers, Homer Biars of Stout, Paul Biars of Marion, Ron (Brenda) Biars of Lucasville; three sisters, Janet Boggs of Ironton, Carol Kinker of Minford, Connie (Jim) Stapleton of Stout; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Steve, Johnny, Russell, and Robert Biars; one sister, Hazel Grubb.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call Monday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
