Carlotta Lou Barnett, 64, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Best Care of Wheelersburg. Carlotta was born December 20, 1949 to the late Harold and Irvene Hamilton Barnett. She was a member of Bloom Free Will Baptist Church and a former employee of the Portsmouth Public Library where she worked for 31 years. Carlotta was an avid collector of dolls and anything Elvis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Virgie Hamilton and Roy and Emma Barnett. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Susan Barnett of South Webster, an uncle, Dale Hamilton of Portsmouth, her niece, Kristin (Jesse) Ruby of South Webster and her great nieces and nephew, who she loved dearly, Alyssa, Abby and Asa Ruby and several cousins. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 20, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Roger Lavender, Pastor Chris Oiler and Missionary Mary Weaver officiating.
