Age 62 of Somerset, OH, passed away on January 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on July 12, 1952 in Columbus, OH to John and Olivia (Cummins) Hammond. Carol worked for many years as a Produce Manager for Save-A-Lot in Portsmouth and was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed raising flowers and house plants, crocheting afghans, was a big fan of shopping on QVC, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Robinson, of Williamsport; one daughter, Kerri Robinson Ohler, of Somerset; four grandchildren, Shyann, Joseph Eugene, Arianna, and Allanah Robinson; one brother, Steve Hammond, of Portsmouth; one sister, Becky Soma (Allen) of Pataskula. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamara; two grandchildren, Melissa and Cassidy; one sister, Renee Veach.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Ralph Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
