Carol F. Smith, 55 of South Webster died Monday, March 2, 2009 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born December 17, 1953 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Geneva Mershon Ball of South Webster and the late Delbert Ball. She was a homemaker and former florial designer. Carol is survived by her husband, Dewey Smith of South Webster; three sons, Dewey Smith III and wife Karri Ann of Wheelersburg, Michael D. Smith and Kristi of Portsmouth and Timothy T. Smith and wife Mary of South Webster; one brother, Lee Ball of South Webster; two sisters, Karen Ball of Sandusky and Donna Potts of South Webster; six grandchildren, Trevor, Gage, Lexi, Ashley, Ryan and Seth and her favorite family dogs, Bobo and Sugar. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, March 6, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Henry Burkett officiating. Burial will be at Pinkerman cemetery.
