Carol Sue Turner, 79, of Portsmouth, formerly of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday March 5, 2022 at the home of her daughter. She was born December 25, 1942 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Cyrus Edward Wright and Oleta Moore Wright.
Carol was a former Registered Nurse, a 1960 graduate of Wheelersburg High School, a graduate of Shawnee Collège and the South Eastern Business Collège. She loved to travel, play tennis, collect antiques and loved her animals very much.

Carol is survived by a son, Larry Scott Kitchen of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Cheryl Wheeler and husband Larry of Wheelersburg, Traci Apel of Wheelersburg; a sister, Lana Davis and husband Sam of Wheelersburg, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 niece.
She was also preceded in death by a nephew Samuel "Eddie" Davis.
Due to Carols love of animals, the family request any donations be made to Sierra's Haven, 80 Easter Dr. Portsmouth, OH 45662.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg.
