Carolyn Coriell Campbell, 84, of Wheelersburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to the late Ceicel “Tip” Coriell and Hazel Coriell (Albert) Carver. Carolyn was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School, Class of 1960. She retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center in 2007.

Carolyn was a woman of strong faith and was affiliated with Grace Fellowship Church. She believed deeply in the sovereign grace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was an important part of her life and the foundation of the love she shared with her family and others.

On June 24, 1960, Carolyn married the love of her life, Homer Campbell, who survives her. She is also survived by her children, Douglas Campbell of Wheelersburg; Dave Campbell (Kevin Large) of Wheelersburg; and Jill Clifton (Nick) of Franklin Furnace.

She was a devoted grandmother to Joey Stockham (Sara), Brittany Collins (Justin), Breanna Stockham (Maxfield Carl), Alex Campbell, Malachi Clifton, and Noah Clifton. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Isabell, Luke, and Eloise Collins; Abrahm Campbell; and Oliver and Addison Stockham.

Carolyn is also survived by her brother, Gary Coriell (Shannon) of Wheelersburg, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Carolyn enjoyed cooking and traveling, but her greatest joy was her family. She cherished the time spent with those she loved and will be remembered for her unwavering faith, loving heart, and devotion to her family.

The family would like to extend a special "THANK YOU" to SOMC Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time.

She is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior, and her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 12 NOON, D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Sciotoville, Roger Shuff officiating; interment to follow at Memorial burial Park. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until Service begins.
