Age 70, of Lucasville, passed away on April 19, 2012 at her home. She was born in Portsmouth on January 15, 1942 to Chester and Margaret (Bond) Guilkey. For many years she worked as a Nurse's Aide in ICU and a file clerk at SOMC. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church of Lucasville. Carolyn enjoyed gardening and loved to create beautiful flowerbeds around her home. She was especially fond of watching movies and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by one son, Bryan Hundley of Columbus; one daughter, Jenny Hundley of Lucasville; five grandchildren, Tyrone Lilly, Jessica Christman, Jarrod Christman, Nicholas Hundley, Sara Beth Hundley; two great-grandchildren, Harmony Lilly, Amira Hundley; one brother, Bernard Guilkey of Columbus; two sisters, Betty (Charles) Emmons of Lucasville, Shirley (Leck) Baker of McDermott. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Guilkey, and Dennis Guilkey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Community of Christ Church in Lucasville with Elder Paul Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow at Lute Cemetery in Union Township. Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home on Tuesday or one hour prior to the service at the church.
