Age 68, of Lucasville, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2012 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 15, 1943 to Alva and Wilma (Jones) Williams. Carolyn was of the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed cooking and reading, was an avid fan of Valley High School football, and most of all loved to spend time with her family. In addition to her husband, Walter, Carolyn is survived by three sons, Dave (Delores) Eldridge, USAF and stationed in Japan, Ken (Lisa) Eldridge of Lebanon, MO, Walter (fiance Jodi Timberlake) Eldridge II of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Joyce (Doug) Banks of Piketon, Linda Phipps of Portsmouth; two brothers, Kenneth (Angie) Williams of Springfield, OH, Ricky Rinucci of Rittman, OH; one sister, Betty Scarberry of New Boston; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one grandson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Minford Community Church with Pastors Ed Cox and Albert Breach officiating. Interment will follow in Batterson Cemetery.
