Age 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at SOMC in Portsmouth. She was born to Robert and Betty (Hill) Howell on April 19, 1954 in Portsmouth, OH. She loved reading and listening to the music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. For the past 15 years Cathy had been a resident of the Bryant Group Home in Ironton. She is survived by her mother, Betty Howell; one sister, Diane McCain of Lexington, KY; five brothers, Michael Howell of Wheelersburg, Paul (Joyce) Howell of Coalwater, OH, Mark Howell of Lewistown, MT, John (Nancy) Howell of Sciotodale, Robert (Mary) Howell of Mesa, AZ; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Howell, and one brother, David Howell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
