IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles William
Floyd
October 30, 1989 – April 19, 2016
Charles William Floyd II (Bub), 26, of Wheelersburg, Ohio went to be with the Lord and his Papa Jim on April 19, 2016. He passed away at Cabell Huntington hospital surrounded by his family, friends, fellow firefighters and EMTs. Charles was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, fiancé and father. He touched many lives by serving as an EMT at many local companies and a volunteer fireman at Porter Township Fire Department. Bub always had a smile on his face. He spent his youth racing go karts at Wheelersburg Raceway where he made many lifelong friends. He also loved hunting and the game of golf. Recently, he spent many days making his late model dirt car race ready. The entire community has suffered a great loss.
He was preceded in death by his papa, Jim Floyd.
He is survived by: his mother and father, Charles and Maria Floyd; his sister Jeweli (Chase) Mullikin and their son Waylon; his grandmother Sharon Floyd; his grandparents Glennis and Pam Gambill; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; along with the loves of his life Quin Rosenburg and Liam Floyd. Although Bub enjoyed his hobbies, he loved nothing more than spending time with his son.
Charlie's family would like to express their gratitude for the tremendous amount of prayers, donations, raffles, auctions, dinners and most importantly the love and support they have received.
His family would also like to thank the staff of the Burn ICU at Cabell Huntington hospital for their great care.
Please continue to pray for everyone involved in this tragic accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with honors being provided by his brothers at Porter Township Fire Department.
