Charles Lee "Chuck" Hicks, 57 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Adams County Hospital. Chuck was born August 6, 1957 in Scioto County, the son of the late Roy Lee Hicks and Geneva Hemming Hicks Dravenstott, who survives. Chuck was a graduate of the West Portsmouth High School and was employed at US Express as a truck driver.

Chuck is survived by a son, Charles L. Hicks of West Portsmouth; one daughter, Rachel (Ryan) McCall of Lucasville; two sisters, Angela (Tom) Meeker of West Portsmouth and Sandra Hicks of Portsmouth; 5 grandchildren; 2 nephews, Jerry (Becky) Meeker of Lucasville and Josh (Molly) Meeker of South Webster; 2 great-nephews; and a special friend, Wanda Lee of West Union.

A visitation will be held from 3 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.swickbussachamberlin.com .
