Age 69 of Portsmouth, passed away on September 3, 2015 at SOMC in Portsmouth. He was born September 6, 1945 in Portsmouth to Charles and Violet (Mullens) Hinson. Charles loved guns, old cars, and collecting Indian artifacts.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pat; two sons, Charles W. Hinson Jr. of Portsmouth and Jerome (Staci) Hinson of Portsmouth; one daughter, Martha Sanders (Tim) of Zanesville; one brother, Floyd Harrison of Columbus; one sister, Phyllis Barney (P.J.) of Minford; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Charlie, Jason, Tim, Alyssa, Emily, David, Brandon, Sierra; four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
