Charles Michael Ott, 72 of South Webster, formerly of Columbus, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born August 20, 1946 in Columbus. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Mike loved three things in life: his family, his friends, and the outdoors. South Webster became his cherished home where he enjoyed 4-wheel rides, fishing, hunting, and offering a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jane Ott. He was a devoted father to Matthew (Sara) Ott of Aspen, Colorado and Casey (April) Ott of Quincy, Ohio. A loving grandfather to Katelyn, Wesley, Levi, and Ivan. He is also survived by siblings Molly (Tom) Devers of Westerville, Ohio, Pat (Lynn) Ott of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, and Sharon Cumbow of Columbus, Ohio.

Arrangements are being handled by D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster. A private service for the family will be held at a later date.  Relatives and friends are invited to make donations in Mike's memory should they choose to the American Diabetes Association in memory of his parents.
