Obituary

Charles J. "Buddy" Yarnell, 69. of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday March 19, 2015 at the home of his daughter. He was born November 9, 1945 in Portsmouth a son of the late Betty and Rudy Cooper. He was a former U.S. Air Force veteran.

Buddy is survived by a daughter, Theresa Maynard and husband Mark of South Webster; two sisters, Connie (Gary) Wicker and Judy (Paul) Fitzpatrick all of South Webster; three brothers, Rodney (Joanna) Cooper of Lucasville, Tim Cooper of Alabama and Jim Griffin of South Webster; 2 grandchildren, Kayla Maynard and Ashley Maynard; 3 great-grandchildren, Cade Queen, Jaxon Maynard and Kaylee Pistole; special nieces and nephews, John Gartin, Danielle Ashley, Keith Hornickel and Bob Gartin. He was also prededed by his wife, Theresa Yarnell on July 25, 2014. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Inoshita , his staff and SOMC Hospice for their special care of Buddy.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday March 21, 2015 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster cemetery with military graveside honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be Saturday 12 Noon to 2 p.m. at D.W. Swick in South Webster.
