Christine Pennington Gyor Howard, 83, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 5, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Shade Franklin Pennington and Nellie Smith Pennington. Christine is survived by her five sons, Paul (Linda) Gyor of Marion, Dennis (Pierrette) Gyor of Williamsburg, VA, Randy Gyor of Sciotoville, Danny Howard of Rarden, and Gary Howard of Circleville; five daughters, Patty (David) Newsome, Debbie (Don) Richard, and Tammy (Mike) Stewart of Sciotoville, Connie (Roy) Pierce of LaRue, and Sherry Parker of West Portsmouth; a step-son, Jippy Howard of Florida; a sister, Irene Carter of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Kinnson, and her husband, Wince "Jip" Howard Jr.. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Minister Larry Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and 12 to 1pm on Monday at the D. W.
