Age 41, of Wheelersburg, passed away at SOMC on April 17, 2012. He was born in Ft. Stewart, GA on August 18, 1970 to Wayne and Judith (Holland) McKittrick. Chris was a 1989 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and had been a Union Pipefitter with Union Local #577 for over 10 years. He loved hunting and archery, collected pocket knives, and enjoyed welding. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Chris is survived by his mother, Judith (Chris) Duty of Wheelersburg; father, Wayne (Suprenia) McKittrick of Wheelersburg; wife Rachael (Hammond) McKittrick of Wheelersburg; children, Jordan McKittrick, Abby McKittrick; stepchildren,Cortney Bihl, Ali Allen, Alania Keeney; grandchild, Alexis; sister, Angie (fiance Dennis Sparks) Duty of Portsmouth; grandmother, Edith McKittrick; father-in-law, Keith (Lisa) Hammond of Portsmouth. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold McKittrick, Lee and Audrey Holland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Wheelersburg Baptist Church in Wheelersburg with Pastor Bradley Brandt officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
