Cynthia L. Smith, 58, of Portsmouth passed away Monday May 30, 2022 . She was born October 11, 1963 in New Port, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Millington) Penix. She was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School, enjoyed working in her yard and playing Bingo.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Donald R. Smith; two sisters, Alice Carmichael of Lucasville and Donna Wicker of Ironton.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Davis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday June 6, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with Pastor Steve Falls officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
