Daniel Dean Canter, 65, a resident of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away at his home on March 22, 2025. Born on March 13, 1960, to Edward Canter and Eliza Jane Kelley in Oak Hill.

Daniel was an auto mechanic and an avid racing fan. He had a passion for four wheelers, motorcycles, carpentry, hunting, and fishing.

Daniel is survived by his three brothers, Ronald (Paula) Canter, Leroy Canter, and Sammy Canter, all residing in Oak Hill. He also leaves behind four sisters, Diane Canter of Oak Hill, Betty Dodridge of Portsmouth, Carolyn Rapp of Jackson, and Christine (Fred) Lucas of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Charlene, his sons, Daniel C. Canter and Tony Rawlins, as well as several brothers.

Private cremation services are being handled by D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster.
