David M. Bussa, 74, of Sciotoville, passed away Tuesday August 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born February 11, 1951 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Robie Bussa and Ruby (Perkins) Bussa Grimes.

He attended Garden City Free Will Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything with guns and old cars. In his younger days he had his own band and loved playing music with his friends. He enjoyed helping others and was like a father figure to many.

David is survived by his wife, Tonda (Davis) Bussa; a daughter Tammy (David) Bussa of Columbus; a brother Robert  (Jackie) Bussa of Aynor, SC; a sister, Diana Todd of Sciotoville; a grandson, David (Samantha) Bussa along with two great grandchildren, River and Cooper.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Bussa and a sister, Jonda Harper.

Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Saturday August 16, 2025 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Blaine Etterling officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be 10 to 11:30 Saturday prior to the service.
