Age 61 of Franklin Furnace, passed away on January 12, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 5, 1954 in Franklin Furnace to Albert and Lillian (Bowen) Mollett. David was a truck driver by profession and of the Baptist faith. In his free time he liked to hunt, fish, and pick the banjo.

He is survived by two sons, David Joe (Carolyn) of Grayson, KY, Aaron Lee (Teresa) of Coal Grove; one daughter, Amy Sesher (fiance' Shawn) of WV; five brothers, Clayton Mollett (Adelle) of Monterey, Mexico, Harold Mollett (Anita) of Franklin Furnace, Rick Mollett (Cheryl) of Franklin Furnace, Tony Mollett (Brenda) of Franklin Furnace, Tim Mollett of Lucasville; three sisters, Delores Carrington (Ray) of Slocum Station, Doris White (Gordon) of Wheelersburg, Connie Boggs (Jack) of Franklin Furnace; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
