David W. Moore, 48, of Portsmouth passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Stockton, CA.  He was born in Frederick, MD on November 30, 1972 to the late Corbin Luther and Sandra Marie (Lore) Moore.  David worked as an electrician and had spent the last several months working in California wiring buildings for Amazon.  In his free time, he loved to go deer hunting and spend time with his family who he loved dearly.

David is survived by his wife, Rebecca Spencer; sons, David Moore Jr. and wife Cierra of South Point and Cody Moore of Portsmouth; daughters, Mahlena Moore of Texas, Mikah Moore of Portsmouth, and Shanna Moore of Portsmouth; brothers, Joe Moore of Chillicothe, Mark Moore and wife Steph of Chillicothe, and Russell Moore and wife Angel of Texas; three grandchildren and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call Friday August 27th from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 1:00 p.m. at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME "Wolfe-Nelson Chapel" in Sciotoville.  A funeral Service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Clyde Spencer officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of  the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
