David Schuyler Queen, 87, of Scioto Furnace, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born January 25, 1922 in Scioto County, a son of the late Della Queen and Schuyler Clark. David was a graduate of South Webster High School and he retired from Bethelhem Steel Mill at Chesterton, IN in 1981. He is survived by cousins, Della Stiles of Columbus, Mary Alice Lawhun and husband J.C. of South Webster, Tina Keener and husband Christopher of Columbus, Shonda Souder and husband Jeff of Coshocton, Odie Lawhun and wife Karen of South Webster and Lisa Lewis and husband Greg of Wheelersburg. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Queen. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with burial at South Webster cemetery.
