David Albert Speas, 53 of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away at home on April 27, 2022. David was born November 27, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky.

David was a wonderful baseball player, enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, Nascar and dirt track racing. David also loved elderly people and babies.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Albert Speas and his brother, Wayne Aaron Speas.

David is survived by his two daughters, Malorie Speas and Mariah McCallister. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Judy and Larry Fetters, siblings Cindy (Mike) Dolan, Danny (Regina) Speas, Ashley (Ashley) Speas and Angie Fetters.

Funeral services will be held at D.W. Swick Funeral Home Wolfe-Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville, Ohio, Sunday, May 1,  2022 at 2:00pm with visitation from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Military graveside honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.
