Age 61, of Wheelersburg, passed away on June 26, 2015 at OSU James Cancer Center in Columbus, OH. She was born on November 8, 1953 in Woodstock, IL to Walter and Joanne (Petty) Clauson. She loved the color blue and was a talented crafter who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and cooking. Deborah liked antique collecting and any kind of decorating: indoors, outdoors, and most of all decorating for Christmas. A country music fan, her favorite performer was definitely Kenny Chesney. She attended Victorious Life Worship Center in New Boston.
Deborah is survived by husband, Daniel Pigg, Sr.; four daughters, Susan Henry (fiancé Bret Henry) of Jeffersonville, OH, Sharon Fields (Danny) of Mt. Sterling, Stephanie Justice of Lancaster, Diane Pigg of Portsmouth; one son, Daniel Pigg, Jr. (Christina) of Wheelersburg; six grandchildren; one great-grandson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Brian and Keith, and one sister, Gail Wurtzinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 1, 2015 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Irvine Reedy officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
