Deelena Ruth Stevens, 74, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday October 31, 2024 at Buckeye Forrest at Portsmouth. She was born February 21, 1950 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Ralph and Darlene (Anderson) Wright.

She was a Nursing Graduate of Shawnee State University in 1977 and worked for many years at Heartland of Portsmouth. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, cooking and working crossword puzzles.

Deelena is survived by two daughters, Trista (Shannon) Bond and Heather Stevens (Robert Robinson) and a grandson, J.J. Dee Bond all of Wheelersburg; a brother, Robert Wright; cousins, Janet Hall of South Point, Edith Nickel and Greta (John) Buckman all of Knoxville, TN.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by aunts, Otie Wright and Rosemary Click; an uncle Raymond Wright; cousins, Dennis F. Lawson and Linda Call.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday November 7, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 to 7 PM and 12 Noon to 1 PM on Thursday.
