Age 55, of Sciotoville, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2012 at SOMC in Portsmouth. She was born in Petaluma, CA on August 29, 1956 to Richard and Donna (Snyder) King. Deena was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, most especially with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce King; one daughter, Amber (Lance) Richardson of Portsmouth; six sisters, Rhonda (Dale) King of St. Cloud, FL, Pamela (Danny) King of Minford, Julia (Daniel) McGuire of Portsmouth, Kim (Bob) Phillips of Sciotoville, Janet (Tyrone) Kuhlman of Los Angeles, CA, Jamie (Dean) Jackson of New Boston; seven grandchildren, Aziah, Darray, Timothy, Cainen, Elijah, Artie, Taryn; daughter-in-law Chastity King of Camden, SC; and best friend, Deanna Collier. In addition to her parents, Deena was preceded in death by one daughter, Alicia Barnes, one son, Brucie King, and one sister, Paula Schwab.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Swords officiating. Interment will follow in Haverhill Cemetery.
