Of Wheelersburg, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 in Portsmouth. She was born May 24, 1929 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, a daughter of the late G.W. and Vada Adkins. Delma is one of Jehovah's Witnesses, worked briefly at Pop's Place, and for many years as a clerk at Reidenbach Pharmacy in Wheelersburg. She was an excellent cook, a talent very much appreciated by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Delma was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna; two sisters, Thelma Ward and Faye Cheek; five brothers, Herman, Guy, Ray, Paul, and June Adkins. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Fitch; two sons, Jeff and Joe Fitch; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.
